Function description - Trial Field Engineer
About the team
Join our test station in Londerzeel and become part of a dynamic and passionate team. You will work in the Trial Stations and Labs department, where you will play a key role in the success of our trials. Our team is made up of committed experts, working together to develop innovative solutions in the field of bio-control.
About the job
As a plant health experimentation technician, you will be at the heart of our research and development activities. You will be responsible for implementing and carrying out the work required to run the trials. Under the authority of the station manager, you will carry out the work of setting up, processing, scoring and reporting on the study projects conducted on the station or nearby.
You will be involved in various trial themes and different crops, with programmes focusing on the development of bio-control solutions. Supporting the team of experimenters and crop technicians, you will take part in the practical phases of the trials (planting, sowing, maintenance treatments, management of irrigation cycles, harvesting, etc.).
You will also be involved in the management and development of the experimental station, and you will be a driving force behind the success of the on-site activity.

- Training: You have an agricultural background. This training has enabled you to acquire solid knowledge of agronomy and cultivation techniques.
- Technical skills: You are methodical and precise in your work, with particular attention to detail. You are able to follow strict protocols and maintain high quality standards in all your tasks.
- Proactivity: You are proactive and enjoy taking initiatives to improve testing processes and results. You are able to identify opportunities for optimisation and propose innovative solutions.
